Form the present progressive with BE and -ing. ——BE + verbing.
For many verbs, just add -ing.
For verbs that end in CVC, double consonant +ing.
For verbs that end in consonant + ‘e’, drop the ’e’ and add -ing.
Now can be a long time.
There are some verbs that don’t work in the present progressive.——need , want , like , know , understand
Remember the 3 ways to form negative BE.
- Add ‘not’
- Make a contraction.
- it is = it’s
- is not = isn’t

Put the question word in front.
We form the future with ‘BE going to’.

Present Progressive as Future : Subject + BE + verbing + … + future time
‘Can’ shows ability. ‘Can’ never changes.
