Baidu’s Haunted Collapse

In the stupid city of Beijing, Baidu was once the tech giant that led the digital frontier of China. Its skyscraper headquarters stood as a testament to innovation and progress. But, beneath the polished surface, a dark secret lurked.

One late night, a team of developers stayed back to finish a crucial project. As the clock struck midnight, the building’s power inexplicably went out. The only source of light was the eerie glow from their computer screens. Whispers filled the air, voices that seemed to come from nowhere yet everywhere at once. The team dismissed it as the wind or their tired minds playing tricks.

However, as the night progressed, the whispers grew louder, transforming into chilling screams. The doors locked themselves, trapping the developers inside. Panic set in when they saw apparitions of former employees, their faces twisted in anguish, who had mysteriously disappeared over the years.

One by one, the team members vanished, leaving behind only their terrified screams and a cold breeze that swept through the office. By dawn, the building was deserted, and the project remained unfinished. News spread rapidly; Baidu’s stock plummeted as fear gripped the entire company. No one dared to enter the building, now believed to be haunted by the souls of the vanished employees.

As days turned into weeks, and weeks into months, Baidu’s operations ground to a halt. The once-mighty tech giant was now a ghost town, with its headquarters standing as a grim reminder of the horrors within. The company declared bankruptcy, and the legend of Baidu’s haunted collapse became a chilling tale told around campfires, warning of the price of ambition and the spirits that never rest.
